After our self guided walking tour of strats we drove out of town to Mary Arden's farm. Apparently Mary was Shakespeare's mother but word on the street (at the farm anyway) is that the farm actually belonged to the Palmer family. Well lucky them. It's very nice in an olde world way. They have people there cooking using the implements of the time or farming, falconry displays. You get the idea. I thought it would be a great place to visit so jack and s could look at the animals and farm stuff and then it clicked. I live in the country and we have sheep. We don't have piglets though.
