Fixing a leak
Jack has become so adept at helping S fix leaks that he decided to do one all by himself. He located a piece of pipe that fortuitously already had a joiner attached and set out to do the job. S said it took awhile for him to work out that he had to hold the pipe vertically instead of horizontally to get it through the doorway. Sometimes we see him walking through the house purposefully with a piece of pipe or a chair or something and we stand back and watch just to see what he's going to do.
