Most of you probably know that the main street in each town here are called the High Street. I realised that I hadn't taken any photos of our local high street so here it is. I couldn't spot any yummy mummys, but as it transpired they must have all been at the hairdressers.

This is the St Albans high street where the market is held. I was roughly in the middle and very quickly took a photo in both directions so apologies for their lack of prettiness. They stretch down past the cream coloured building with the columns.


I purchased goodies from the markets today and tonight we feasted on olives, feta, artichokes, prosciutto, tomatoes and crusty bread. Ah. I think the others had soggy pasta with garlic bread for extra carbs.
